Dance Your Art Out is a FREE art show and dance party in Nashville which happens periodically in conjunction with the monthly Art Crawl. We have partnered with Scenario Entertainment, Twist Art Gallery, and Giving Back Is The New Black to create a free dance party that brings together music and the featured visual art of Twist Gallery, to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The Details
- What? Dance Your Art Out: a FREE art show and dance party
- When? Saturday, August 6th in conjunction with the August Art Crawl. 8pm
- Where? Ha Factory 238 5th Ave N. Nashville, TN 37219 (just two doors down from The Arcade)
- What else? As this is a free event, we will be taking donations for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Featured music of DJ Kidsmeal, the visual art of Twist Gallery and Ha Factory, and providing FREE beer from Star Hill
Our last party featured the extrodiarly unconventional, yet explicitly inspiring, and remarkably thought-provoking artwork of Ryan Hogan, and Jaime Raybin. As Twist Gallery features some of the most unique talent, you won't want to miss what they have planned for this upcoming event.
The featured music for August 6th is that of DJ Kidsmeal. If you've been hanging around Nashville for any time at all, then Kidsmeal needs no introduction. His musical approach, utilizing Turntablism to deliver his own brand of electronic Hip-Hop fusion, creates a singular style that when paired with his collaboration in visual art makes Kidsmeal superlative for the DYAO party.
If you've never been to the Art Crawl, or it's been a long time since you've come down, then make sure you get down to The Arcade on August 6th and come party with us! If you're a regular at the Art Crawl, then make sure you stop by Ha Factory after you're done with the crawl for a nitecap party!
