As the week begins to roll around to a close, I feel a certain sense of completion segueing into a natural state of reflection and then giving way into more planning, due to the release of the new Mother/Father EP, Physical Heaven.
On Tuesday we said we would be adding more stores to the availability of Physical Heaven daily, so we’ve got two more stores to add to our list: iTunes and Amazon.
As Physical Heaven was released yesterday, a handful of reviews on the new Mother/Father EP came in. Some went live in the weeks prior to the release, and some went live yesterday. Here’s a collection of these reviews…

In the weeks leading up to the release of Physical Heaven we worked with Mother/Father to reach out to their fans, asking them if anyone would be interested in writing a review in exchange for an advanced copy of the new EP. We’ve been looking forward to the release date of the new Mother/Father EP, Physical Heaven for months. Well that date has arrived. And yeah, we ended up picking the same release date as the new Band of Horses record, but hey that just means if you’re a Band of Horses fan, you can throw on a little extra celebration by buying Physical Heaven too.
Physical Heaven is now available for purchase through our online store, Radical Notion Digital, with more stores – both online, and off – being added daily.
We spent a good portion of last week getting our store, Radical Notion Digital, switched over to the Bandcamp platform, re-launching exactly a week ago.
I’m personally excited about now being set up on Bandcamp, as I feel our online store is more stable and easier to use. The people at Bandcamp created their service with music fans and music makers specifically in mind. Our previous store was much harder to maintain, and because of that I always felt like I was not able to take care of our fans the way you needed to be taken care of. [continue reading…]
