We’re excited to welcome another contributor to be a part of this blog. My friend, Skip Franklin, started a video series called Indie Nashville, about a year ago with Sharon Koltick of the Nashville-based indie rock band, Kink Ador [KinkAdor.com]. Videos are hosted by Sharon, Damien Horne, and Ernest Chapman (another contributor to this blog), and showcase what is happening in and around the Nashville indie rock community-bands, events, clubs, people, places, etc.
So far this video series has lived primarily on Facebook, where Skip posts videos periodically via his personality there.
I approached Skip a few weeks ago about syndicating the Indie Nashville video series on the Radical Notion blog. I love the way the videos contribute to the Nashville creative community, and thought it would be a perfect addition to the content here. Hopefully it broadens the reach, viewership, and interactivity of the Indie Nashville series as well.
Look for the Indie Nashville video series to begin appearing here later in April.
And stay tuned as Skip has ideas to expand the concept of Indie Nashville in the near future.
